Anderson, S.C.-based Blue Ridge Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine has joined Greenville (S.C.) Health System, according to an Independent Mail report.
Here are four key notes:
1. The practice includes 13 orthopedic surgeons and two primary care sports medicine physicians.
2. The practice also serves as the team orthopedic physicians for Clemson University athletes.
3. Greenville Health System is a public nonprofit system, which includes four acute-care hospitals and eight outpatient facilities. It also includes more than 10,000 employees.
4. Once the merger is complete, Blue Ridge physicians will provide care primarily in Oconee, Pickens and Anderson counties.
