Here are nine orthopedic surgeons making headlines over the past week.

Bret Winter, MD, and Jean Basta, MD, detail information about Cheyenne's Regional Medical Center's newest innovation, the robotic arm, in a recent Wyoming News piece.

 

Chad Manke, MD, FAAOS, is one of a select few physicians in the United States able to perform a minimally invasive shoulder replacement procedure, according to the Daily Press.

 

Dennis William Burke, MD, recently performed surgery on Secretary John Kerry.

 

Utah Jazz team physicians Lyle Mason, MD, and Russell Shields, MD, have been named the 2015 NBA physicians of the year, according to an NBA report.

 

The Colquitt Regional Medical Foundation honored D.W. Adcock, MD, with the 2015 Walter E. Harrison Jr. Humanitarian Award.

 

The Connecticut Orthopaedic Society named F. Scott Gray, MD, as president.

 

Northern Westchester Hospital's co-chief of orthopedic surgery and director of sports medicine at the Orthopedic and Spine Institute Victor Khabie, MD, performed the first robot-assisted partial knee replacement in the state using the Navio system.
