Ty C. Jones, MD, joined Proliance Orthopedic Associates in Washington.

1. Dr. Jones is a fellowship-trained primary care sports medicine specialist.
2. He will be practicing at Proliance Orthopedic Associates' three locations in Renton, Covington and Maple Valley.
3. Dr. Jones specializes in utilizing an array of advanced techniques to effectively diagnose and treat sports medicine injuries including the management and treatment of concussions.
4. Dr. Jones earned his medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans. He went on to complete a pathology residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. He completed a sports medicine fellowship at the University of Nevada School of Medicine in Las Vegas.
5. He is presently an active member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, American Medical Society for Sports Medicine and Performing Arts Medicine Association.
