Sioux Falls, S.D.-based Sanford Health plans to donate $2 million to Northern State University in Aberdeen, S.D., to become the school's exclusive sports medicine provider, according to Macon.com.
Here are three facts:
1. The donation will fund the Northern State University Foundation and Wolves Club, which provide scholarships for athletes.
2. Sanford Health will provide sports medicine services to the school's 380 student athletes, effective immediately.
3. The donation will also enable the school to provide up to 12 new full athletic scholarships every year.
