Martin O'Malley, MD, will perform ankle surgery on Brooklyn Nets' Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, according to a New York Post report.
Here are four notes:
1. Mr. Hollis-Jefferson was diagnosed with a non-displaced fracture of the posterior talus in his right ankle.
2. Dr. O'Malley is an associate attending orthopedic surgeon and fellowship director of the foot and ankle service at Hospital for Special Surgery in New York.
3. He has authored more than 75 articles and book chapters on disorders of the foot and ankle.
4. He completed a foot and ankle surgery fellowship at Hospital for Special Surgery.
