The American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine inducted Freddie H. Fu, MD, into the AOSSM Hall of Fame.

1. AAOSM will add Dr. Fu to the Hall of Fame on July 8 during AOSSM's annual meeting in Colorado Springs.
2. Dr. Fu has served as AOSSM president, as well as a David Silver Professor and orthopedic surgery chairman at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.
3. He is the head team physician for the University of Pittsburgh Athletic Department.
4. Specializing in sports medicine, Dr. Fu's research interests include ACL reconstruction, clinical outcomes as well as the bioengineering of sports-related condition.
5. After earning his medical degree from University of Pittsburgh, he completed his orthopedic residency and orthopedic research fellowship at the same institution.
