Twin Cities Orthopedics secures naming rights to Minnesota Vikings practice facility & headquarters — 5 things to know

Twin City Orthopedics is strengthening its relationship with the Minnesota Vikings by acquiring naming rights to the team's new practice facility and headquarters. 

Here are five things to know:

 

1. The team broke ground on the new facility Aug. 2.

 

2. The performance center will be known as the Twin Cities Orthopedics Performance Center, while the practice stadium will be TCO Stadium.

 

3. Both are slated to open in March 2018.

 

4. The 40-acre campus is expected to include several new administrative offices, an outdoor stadium with seating for 6,000, five outdoor practice fields, an outdoor training area, an indoor practice facility, a team auditorium, a media center, a locker room, a cardiovascular and specialized speed room, a hydrotherapy room and several post-workout recovery rooms.

 

5. TCO and the Vikings have been longtime partners, with the orthopedic practice being the official orthopedic provider of the team.
