Dr. Arthur Ting to repair torn meniscus of Denver Broncos' RB CJ Anderson: 4 takeaways

Arthur Ting, MD, repaired the torn meniscus on the right knee of Denver Broncos' RB CJ Anderson, at the Fremont (Calif.) Surgery Center, 9News reports.

Here's what you should know.

 

1. The surgery could keep Mr. Anderson sidelined for the rest of the regular season. He could return if the Broncos make the playoffs. Recovery team is expected to be around eight to 12 weeks.

 

2. Dr. Ting specializes in orthopedic sports medicine and provides patients customized preventative programs, injury rehabilitation, reconstructive surgery and arthroscopy.

 

3. After earning his medical degree from St. Louis University Medical School, he underwent his orthopedic surgery residency at Los Angeles County+USC Medical Center. Dr. Ting completed his fellowship at Kerlan & Jobe Orthopedic Medical Group in Inglewood, Calif.

 

4. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and American Board of Arthroscopy.
