Henry Schein partners with MLB players, trainers to encourage children to live healthy lives — 3 insights

Henry Schein is partnering with Professional Baseball Athletic Trainers Society and the Taylor Hooton Foundation to encourage children to live active and healthy lives and to visit their physician and dentist.

Here's what you should know.

 

1. The partners are visiting MLB stadiums throughout the summer as part of the Promoting a Lifetime of Activity for Youth Campaign.

 

2. Henry Schein provides 200 teenagers and children a bag containing several items that encourage healthy habits and good hygiene. Henry Schein is also making an undisclosed monetary foundation.

 

3. At the events, community organizations select children to participate in some on-field drills and then get to meet with a MLB ballplayer to talk about the importance of overall health.
