Dr. Frank Cammisa Performs Spine Procedure on Flyers' Chris Pronger

Chris Pronger, a professional hockey player for the Philadelphia Flyers, recently underwent spine surgery, according to a Philadelphia Inquirer report.


Frank Cammisa, MD, a spine surgeon at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City, performed Mr. Pronger's surgery to relieve a disc fragment pressing against a nerve. He is expected to make a full recovery after beginning rehabilitation in a few days.
