Joimax opens endoscopic spine surgery training and education center in California

Joimax opened its new Training and Education Center in Irvine, Calif.

The new facility is dedicated to physician education and training. The company will hold its first workshop there on Sept. 8 and 9. The demand for joimax's endoscopic procedures in spine surgery has increased this year, after CMS released a new CPT reimbursement code for endoscopic spine procedures on Jan. 1.

"This new wet lab facility provides a major base for supporting our fast growing education needs for both our new sales and clinical associates, but moreover it's a place for physicians to be trained," said National Director of Sales Bob Wolownik.

The company will continue offering educational opportunities and workshops instructing on endoscopic spine surgery at spine society meetings across the country. The company has nearly doubled its U.S. revenues year-to-date.

"We have seen a significant rise in interest from both payers and physicians asking to receive information and streamline communication regarding the new endoscope spine code," said Vice President of Operations and Reimbursement Brian Schneider. The company is also seeing record numbers in European and Asian sales.
