Preparing to enter the U.S. market this year, Ossio established its U.S. corporate headquarters in Woburn, Mass., Wicked Local reports.
Here are four details:
1. Ossio CEO Brian Verrier previously operated out of Cummings Executive Suites in Woburn and Beverly, Mass. He has built up the company's U.S. presence and added staff.
2. Ossio's new lease is for a 3,000-square-foot office at a Cummings Properties business campus.
3. Ossio's proprietary OSSIOfiberTM Intelligent Bone Regeneration technology is an implant used to heal fractured bone. It is designed to allow natural bone to regrow and replace the implant to avoid leaving a permanent metal implant in the body.
4. The orthopedic technology company was founded in Israel in 2014.
"As we prepare to enter the U.S. market in 2018, we needed a larger space that would support our expansion efforts moving forward," Mr. Verrier said. "It made sense to stay in Woburn, since it kept costs down while still allowing us to engage the medical community and strong talent pool in the Greater Boston area."
