Misonix acquired Solys Medical in late September. The acquisition was an all-stock transaction of roughly $109 million in value on the date prior to closing. Misonix acquired TheraSkin, Solys Medical's cellular and tissue-based wound treatment, and assumed the company's outstanding secured debt of roughly $24 million.
Integra LifeSciences announced the acquisition of Rebound Therapeutics on Sept. 9, adding the company's minimally invasive neurosurgery system. The technology expands Integra's neurosurgical and therapeutic-focused portfolio. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
DePuy Synthes signed a definitive agreement to acquire the assets of JointPoint in early September. DePuy will acquire JointPoint's navigation software, which it plans to develop for further orthopedic procedures. The acquisition is expected to be finalized by the end of the year. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
