OrthoCarolina temporarily closes facility after physician tests positive for COVID-19

OrthoCarolina's Hip & Knee Center in Charlotte closed March 17 after one of its physicians tested positive for COVID-19, the illness caused by the novel coronavirus.

The physician, a fellow at the facility, is recovering at home in quarantine.

All employees who have been in contact with the physician are also quarantining at home, while the facility is being sanitized and disinfected.

The facility will be closed until further notice.
