Durham, N.C.-based EmergeOrtho and Charlotte, N.C.-based OrthoCarolina are teaming up to form HiVE of the Carolinas, according to a Sept. 7 news release.
HiVE, or Health Innovation Value Enterprise, is a value-based enterprise that brings together the practices and a national specialist partner. The partnership aims to enhance patient outcomes and reduce costs.
"EmergeOrtho is excited to partner with these forward-thinking organizations in this new initiative which will transform how musculoskeletal care is delivered in our state," Frank Aluisio, MD, president of EmergeOrtho, said in the release. "We look forward to providing a true patient-centered experience with data-driven, high-quality, cost-effective care which will help eliminate the redundancy and waste present in our current system."
