Neurosurgeons expand Palm Beach Neuroscience Institute

Neurosurgeons, John Afshar, MD, and John Robinson Jr., MD, opened a Stuart, Fla., office as part of Palm Beach Neuroscience Institute, South Florida Hospital News reported March 31.

Dr. Afshar specializes in minimally invasive surgery for the spine and brain, including degenerative disc disease, disc replacement, spinal stenosis and stereotactic radiosurgery. 

Dr. Robinson is a double-fellowship-trained surgeon specializing in computer-guided minimally invasive treatments for the spine and brain, including lumbar surgery, herniated discs and spinal tumors.

Both neurosurgeons practice at St. Mary’s Medical Center in West Palm Beach, Fla., and Laser & Surgery Center of the Palm Beaches in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.
