Sutter Health has unveiled its new 120,000-square-foot Advanced Orthopedics & Sports Medicine Care Complex in Sacramento, Calif.
The facility is expected to open to patients in late 2027, offering orthopedic care, advanced spine surgery, sports medicine, concussion care, physical therapy, diagnostic imaging, sports psychology, nutrition and an onsite ASC, according to an April 21 news release sent to Becker’s.
The facility will expand in the future to offer onsite clinical trials for orthopedics, as well as cancer, neuroscience, heart and vascular care. Sutter’s graduate medical education programs will eventually have a presence at the complex as well, according to the release.
Sutter has hired nearly 400 physicians in the Sacramento region over the past year, and plans to recruit more than 30 physicians and advanced practice clinicians for the new orthopedic center. They will join 15 existing physicians and clinicians that will relocate to this location.
