Kevin J. Bunn, MD, is presenting his fellowship research project at the November 2015 American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons' annual meeting and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons annual meeting in 2016.
Here are five key notes on Dr. Bunn:
1. He completed his fellowship on the rising number of total knee replacements and knee revisions.
2. His research also examines the costs associated with primary and revision total knee surgeries. He studied the procedure time, hospital length of stay, blood loss and recovery time for 80 patients.
3. Dr. Bunn earned his medical degree at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine and completed his residency at the University of North Carolina Hospitals.
4. He had additional training in an adult reconstructive surgery fellowship at Houston Methodist Hospital.
5. Dr. Bunn is currently a physician with Coastal Orthopedics in Conway, S.C.
