Novant Health Orthopedics & Sports Medicine celebrates the opening of its first clinic in Albemarle, N.C., this Thursday, according to the Stanly News & Press.
Here's what you need to know:
1. The new clinic combines services from Novant Health Orthopedics & Sports Medicine and Novant Health Vascular Specialists.
2. It is staffed by orthopedic surgeon Harrison Latimer, MD; orthopedic surgeon William Furr, MD; vascular surgeon Martin Carignan, MD; and orthopedic physician's assistant Doug Carroll.
3. The clinic's services will include sports medicine, treatment of tendon injuries, minimally invasive surgery, chronic knee pain care and physical therapy, among other specialties.
4. The clinic will also include on-site MRIs and diagnostic ultrasound equipment.
