Dr. Lindsey Valone joins California Pacific Orthopaedics: 5 insights

San Francisco-based California Pacific Orthopaedics welcomed Lindsey Valone, MD.

1. Dr. Valone is the first female recipient of the Daniel C. Riordan Award of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand.

 

2. Dr. Valone’s clinical interests include congenital anomalies, adult arthritis, hand problems and complex reconstructive surgery.

 

3. She underwent fellowship training in hand and upper extremities at the Harvard Medical School in Boston.

 

4. After she earned her medical degree from UC Davis, Dr. Valone completed her residency at the University of California San Francisco.

 

5. During her residency, Dr. Valone traveled to Nepal and dedicated her time treating pediatric and adult patients with various orthopedic injuries. She also spent time promoting women in orthopedic surgery.
