Daniel Kuesis, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at Elk Grove Village, Ill.-based Core Orthopedics and Sports Medicine.
Dr. Kuesis founded Core Orthopedics as well as Genoa City, Wis.-based Geneva Surgical Suites. He serves as CEO for both.
With arthroscopic surgery expertise, Dr. Kuesis serves as team physician for the American Soccer Association and Lisle, Ill.-based Benedictine University. He was previously a physician for the Duke University and North Carolina Central University sports teams, both in Durham, N.C., and the U.S. Airborne and Special Forces divisions at Fort Bragg, N.C.
Dr. Kuesis teaches the anterior hip replacement approach, which he introduced at Elk Grove Village, Ill.-based Alexian Brothers Medical Center and Hoffman Estates, Ill.-based St. Alexius Medical Center.
After attending Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago, Dr. Kuesis completed an internship and residency at Durham-based Duke University Medical School. He underwent fellowship training at Boston-based New England Baptist Hospital.
