New Jersey hospital appoints Dr. Jeffrey Augustin as director of orthopedic surgery and joint program

Jeffrey Augustin, MD, was appointed director of orthopedic surgery and the joint replacement program at Bayonne (N.J.) Medical Center, according to Hudson Reporter

1. Dr. Augustin previously served as section chair of orthopedic surgery at BMC.

2. He has maintained a private practice at Augustin Orthopedics in Bayonne, N.J., since 2006 but has been associated with BMC for several years.

3. Dr. Augustin earned his medical degree at Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia.

4. He completed a residency at University of Medicine and Dentistry in Newark, N.J., and a fellowship at Arizona Institute for Bone and Joint Disorders in Phoenix.
