OrthoGrid Systems has developed an artificial intelligence-driven intraoperative hip replacement application.
OrthoGrid AI registers a patient's specific anatomy, identifies instruments and processes data with a surgeon's workflow, according to a March 2 news release. The platform aims to improve surgeons' efficiency, accuracy and reproducibility.
"The differentiating element of OrthoGrid's platform is that it integrates seamlessly with what I already do," Brian Gladnick, MD, of Dallas-based Carrell Clinic, said in the release. "It elevates what I've spent years perfecting and is helping me take my surgical practice to a new level."
OrthoGrid also has applications for hip preservation cases and orthopedic trauma.
