Daniel Gonzalez, MD, joined Holy Cross Health Orthopedic Institute in Oakland Park, Fla., according to an April 19 report by South Florida Hospital News.
Dr. Gonzalez is a sports medicine physician with focus areas of nonoperative sports medicine and orthopedics, musculoskeletal injury management and sports injury management.
He has previously served as associate team physician for Atlanta-based Georgia State University's football, basketball, soccer, cross country and baseball programs, the report said.
Holy Cross Health Orthopedic Institute is part of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based Holy Cross Health.
