James Voos, MD, performed arthroscopic knee surgery on Alex Wright and Isaiah Thomas, two players for the Cleveland Browns, on Aug. 8 at University Hospitals in Cleveland.
Both players are expected to make full recoveries and return early in the 2023 NFL season, according to an Aug. 8 news release from the team.
Mr. Wright suffered an injury during the Browns' last preseason game, and Mr. Thomas was injured during practice.
Dr. Voos is the head team physician for the Browns and chair of the orthopedic department at University Hospitals and Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland.
