Dr. Backus is a foot and ankle specialist and completed his fellowship at The Steadman Clinic in 2016, according to a news release. He is one of eight full-time physicians at the practice who completed fellowships in Vail.
He previously worked as an assistant professor of orthopedics at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis.
Dr. Backus earned his medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine in Durham, N.C. and completed his residency at Washington University School of Medicine.
