Here are 25 orthopedic practices to know going into 2024:

1. Vail (Colo).-Summit Orthopaedics & Neurosurgery Vail-Summit has locations in six counties in Colorado, offering surgical and nonsurgical care. The practices treat everything from elbow to knee and neck conditions. It has several physicians and emeritus physicians on staff. 

2. Chippewa Valley Orthopedics and Sports Medicine (Altoona, Wis.) Chippewa offers orthopedic, brain, spine and sports medicine care. Its physicians perform everything from joint replacements to advanced arthroscopic and neurosurgical procedures across four locations. The system also has affiliations with four external practices, including physical therapy and surgical hospitals. 

3. MidJersey Orthopaedics (Flemington, N.J.) MidJersey has five locations in the state, including an ASC and a medical center. The system offers urgent care and walk-in services, and several of its physicians have been named Top Docs. The practice also has a spine center. 

4. Rebound Orthopedics & Neurosurgery (Vancouver, Wash.) Rebound has three locations in Washington and Oregon, offering patients surgical, nonsurgical, physical therapy and neurosurgery treatment options. Its physicians specialize in total joint care, brain and spine care. 

5. The Orthopedic Partners (Park City, Utah) Orthopedic Partners has four locations, including an ASC in Utah. Its specialties include spine care, pediatric orthopedics and shoulder, hip and knee care. The system recently added three pediatric orthopedic surgeons, expanding access for young patients in the state. 

6. Twin Cities Orthopedics (Golden Valley, Minn.) TCO has several locations in the state that offer urgent care, surgery, bioengineering and trauma services. Its facilities also offer pediatric care and rheumatology. 

7. Crovetti Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine (Las Vegas) Crovetti specializes in hip and knee replacements as well as ACL repairs. On top of surgery, the practice offers chiropractic services and a whole-body wellness center. The practice has also created and built innovative surgical recovery suites. 

8. Steindler Orthopedic Clinic (Iowa City) Steindler has been an orthopedic care leader in Iowa for over 70 years. It has six locations and several hospital partnerships in the area, offering joint replacements, fracture care, sports medicine and pain management. 

9. OrthopedicsNY (Latham) OrthopedicsNY has locations in eight cities in the state, offering surgical care, pain management, diagnostic imaging and rehabilitation. Additionally, the system is the primary care provider for three college sports teams in the area. Its providers include sports medicine, orthopedic and spine specialists. 

10. Mayfield Brain & Spine (Cincinnati) Mayfield offers spine services, brain tumor services and neurovascular services. It also offers physical therapy at its five locations in Ohio and Kentucky. The practice also conducts in-house clinical trials. 

11. Gulf Orthopaedics (Daphne, Ala.) Gulf has two locations in the state offering spine, pain and orthopedic care. It also has a team of athletic trainers on staff, in addition to nurses and physicians. Gulf also has an affiliation with Infirmary Health and is a division of the Southern Orthopaedic Alliance. 

12. OrthoIndy (Indianapolis) OrthoIndy offers treatments for bone, joint, spine and sports medicine injuries. It also offers physical therapy, urgent care and imaging services. The system has several locations throughout the state. 

13. Hospital for Special Surgery (New York City) HSS is regularly named by Newsweek as the top orthopedic hospital in the nation. The system has recently expanded outside of New York, establishing a care facility in Florida. 

14. The Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics (Bethesda, Md.) The Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics offers patients care at locations across two states and Washington, D.C. It specializes in nonsurgical care, sports medicine, pediatric orthopedics, joint replacements and rheumatology, as well as traditional orthopedic care. 

15. BoulderCentre for Orthopedics & Spine (Colo.) The BoulderCentre offers orthopedic and spine care, recently growing its spine care line with the addition of more providers. The system has served the region since 1968, devoted to providing patients with customized care and treatment plans. 

16. Kansas Joint and Spine Specialists (Wichita) Kansas Joint and Spine has two locations serving patients in the state. It offers robotic joint replacement procedures, imaging, digital X-rays and traditional orthopedic care. 

17. OrthoMidwest (Chicago) OrthoMidwest is newly formed following the merger of two large orthopedic practices in Illinois. Bringing together specialists from both practices, the system offers orthopedic care, physical therapy, imaging, sports performance training and occupational therapy throughout the state. 

18. Premier Orthopaedics (Newtown Square, Pa.) Premier offers patients traditional orthopedic services, physical therapy, urgent care and MRI screenings at 30 locations in Pennsylvania. The system is also an affiliate of orthopedic management organization HOPCo. 

19. Campbell Clinic Orthopaedics (Germantown, Tenn.) Campbell Clinic offers outpatient joint replacement surgery for hips, shoulders, knees and ankles, as well as inpatient care for spine surgery, orthobiologics and more. The system serves patients at nine facilities across two states. 

20. University Orthopedics (Providence, R.I.) University Orthopedics' physicians collaborate with the care team at Brown University, expanding technical care for patients even further. In addition, the system recently added an EOS imaging system for more thorough care. The system specializes in trauma, orthopedic care, spine care, sports medicine and more. 

21. Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance (Nashville) TOA was first established in 1926. Its physicians include nationally recognized specialists in sports medicine, joint replacement, spine, hand, wrist and elbow, foot and ankle, shoulder, physical medicine and rehabilitation and interventional pain management.

22. Beacon Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine (Sharonville, Ohio) Beacon had all 60 physicians voted to Cincinnati Magazine's "Top Doctors" list of 2024. Its specialists provide care at over 20 locations in the state, specializing in surgical and nonsurgical orthopedics, sports medicine, orthobiologics, total joint replacement and spine care. 

23. Golden State Orthopedics & Spine (Brentwood, Calif.) Golden State recently rebranded, committing to excellence in patient care. Its locations offer urgent care, orthopedic care and physical therapy. Physicians include primary care, orthopedic care and interventional pain  specialists. 

24. Resurgens Orthopaedics (Atlanta) Resurgens physicians practice over 10 different orthopedic specialties, including hip, knee, shoulder and elbow care. Additionally, the practice serves patients in over 20 locations. Its physicians also specialize in same-day and minimally invasive treatment options. 

25. EmergeOrtho (Durham, N.C.) EmergeOrtho has locations in five regions throughout North Carolina, with orthopedic specialists, nurses, therapists, athletic trainers and psychologists on staff. The practice offers both orthopedic and nonorthopedic treatments for patients.
