Here are five orthopedic practices to know going into 2024:

1. South Florida Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine (Port Saint Lucie). South Florida Orthopaedics has four locations in the state, including two walk-in facilities and a state-of-the-art fluoroscopy suite. The system offers podiatry, pain management and physical and occupational therapy in addition to surgical services including joint replacements and spine procedures. The practice also offers sports medicine care, with 22 physician specialists on staff.
2. OrthoSouth (Memphis, Tenn.). OrthoSouth offers comprehensive orthopedic care including urgent care and on-site physical therapy across eight clinics and two surgery centers in Tennessee and Mississippi. OrthoSouth is also the official sports medicine partner for the Memphis Grizzlies NBA team, as well as a number of high school and middle school programs across the mid-South.
3. Eisenhower Health Desert Orthopedic Center (Rancho Mirage, Calif.). Eisenhower has a team of physician specialists that provide sports medicine, total joint replacement, spine, shoulder and elbow, hand and foot, as well as interventional pain management. The practice provides both surgical and nonsurgical care, seeing more than 100,000 clinic visits a year. Its physicians complete 3,000 inpatient procedures annually and 35,000 outpatient and pain procedures.
4. Ortho Montana (Billings). Ortho Montana has 17 specialists on staff providing spine care, hip and knee care, trauma care and more. It also offers a rehabilitation and urgent care center. The system has six facilities in the state, including an urgent care and a hip and knee center. Its imaging services draw in patients from two neighboring states, providing X-rays, ultrasounds and MRIs.
5. Sierra Pacific Orthopedics (Fresno, Calif.). Sierra Pacific has three state-of-the art campuses specializing in orthopedic, sports medicine and spine care. Two of its campuses offer urgent care services for patients as well. The system opened its first facility in 2002 focusing on the treatment of disease and conditions for bones, joints, muscles and nerves. Its 29 specialists have a unique focus in the upper extremity, lower extremity, and back, neck and spine care.
