Dr. Colosi is charged with attempted kidnapping of her son and attempting to kill a court-ordered observer during a custody visit in Santa Barbara, Calif.
In December, she allegedly seriously injured the observer by striking her in the head several times with a metal canister, before fleeing to Flathead County, Mont., via a chartered private jet.
Local police arrested Dr. Colosi and transported her to Santa Barbara (Calif.) County Jail, where she has been held without bail.
She faces charges of attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon, attempted kidnapping of a child, attempted child stealing and disobeying a domestic-violence court order as well as special allegations including causing great bodily harm and use of a deadly weapon.
A readiness-and-settlement date will take place Feb. 24.
