Exactech launched an update for its Predict+ machine learning tool for shoulder replacement.
Predict+ leverages clinical outcomes data, CT images and machine learning to offer patient-specific outcome predictions for anatomic and reverse total shoulder replacement. The new version of the software is fully integrated into the Shoulder Planning app.
“We originally developed this evidence-based tool in 2020 to help surgeons more accurately predict the improvement that an individual patient could achieve after anatomic and reverse total shoulder arthroplasty,” Exactech Senior Vice President of Extremities Chris Roche said in the release. “The next generation of Predict+ further advances the preoperative consultation process by seamlessly incorporating additional patient-specific inputs directly from the Shoulder Planning App to improve the personalization of the predicted outcomes.”
Predict+ is available in Europe and Australia. It has not received FDA marketing authorization.
