1. Dr. Claps specializes in hip and knee conditions as well as joint replacement. He has expertise in anterior and minimally invasive total hip replacement, total and partial knee replacement and outpatient hip and knee replacement.
2. After earning his doctor of osteopathic medicine degree from Lake Erie (Pa.) College of Medicine, Dr. Claps completed his residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Pinnacle Health in Harrisburg, Pa. He underwent fellowship training in adult reconstruction and total joint replacement at Winston Salem, N.C.-based Wake Forest University Baptist Health.
3. Dr. Claps is a member of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics.
