Here’s what you should know.
1. Dr. Eissmann is the hospital’s second orthopedic surgeon. The orthopedic department expects to add a third surgeon in early 2017.
2. Dr. Eissmann earned his medical degree from the University of Nevada in Reno. He stayed at the university for his internship before completing a fellowship at the Kerlan-Jobe Orthopedic Clinic in Inglewood, Calif.
3. He has performed more than 4,000 hip total joint replacement surgeries throughout his career, and he performs revisions.
4. The American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery certified Dr. Eissmann.
