Dr. Martin Boyer named director-elect of American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery

Martin Boyer, MD, an orthopedic surgery professor at the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, has been named director-elect of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.

Dr. Boyer will serve a 10-year term on the 21-member board, according to a Jan. 14 news release from the university.

He specializes in hand and microvascular surgery and sees patients at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. He has been a faculty member at Washington University since 1997.
