Orthopedic surgeon to know: Dr. Thomas A. Brandon of Peninsula Orthopaedic Associates

Thomas A. Brandon, MD, is a board certified orthopedic surgeon and president of the Peninsula Orthopedic Associates and chief of the orthopedics division at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury.

Dr. Bradley was one of the first orthopedic surgeons to perform minimally invasive knee replacement and arthroscopic repair of knee ligaments and rotator cuff tears. He specializes in sports medicine, arthroscopy and reconstructive procedures of the shoulder and knee.

 

Dr. Brandon received his medical degree from the University of Tennessee Center for Health Sciences in Memphis and completed his internship at Bowman Gray School of Medicine at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, N.C., where he also completed his residency in orthopedic surgery.
