Fremont, Calif.-based Washington Hospital Healthcare System recently debuted Think Surgical's TMINI miniature robotic system.
The robotic system features a wireless handpiece that assists surgeons with performing total knee replacements. Think Surgical received FDA 510(k) clearance for the system in April.
Alexander Sah, MD, the medical co-director of the hospital's Institute for Joint Restoration, performed the first ever case using the system, according to a Sept. 27 news release.
