Dr. Brian Fiani completes 100th Mazor spine surgery

Brian Fiani, DO, of Livonia, Mich.-based Mendelson Kornblum Orthopedic & Spine Specialists, completed his 100th case with Medtronic’s Mazor robot.

The robot is designed for increased precision in complex spine procedures. 

“Mazor robotic spine surgery has truly revolutionized the way we approach spinal procedures,” Dr. Fiani said in a news release shared March 4 with Becker’s.

Dr. Fiani earned his medical degree from Michigan State University in East Lansing and completed his residency at Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs, Calif. He joined Mendelson Kornblum Orthopedics and Spine Specialists in 2023.
