Zimmer announced a new leadership team and organizational structure that will go into effect when their merger with Biomet is final.
"Our two companies will be stronger together, and that is proven by the management team we have assembled," said David Dvorak, Zimmer President and CEO. "With the help of these individuals, and many more across both organizations, we are making great progress in our integration planning and are positioned to immediately begin capturing the benefits of the combination upon closing."
The team will include 12 executives reporting to Mr. Dvorak. He will remain president and CEO of the combined company, which will be called Zimmer Biomet.
The additional leadership will include:
• Group President Adam R. Johnson, responsible for the spine, microfixation, bone healing and dental business
• Group President David A. Nolan, responsible for sports medicine, extremities, trauma, biologics and surgical businesses
• Group President Daniel E. Williamson, responsible for the Knee, Hip and Bone Cement businesses
Geographic leadership includes President of the Americas Stuart G. Kleofer; president of Europe, Middle East and Africa Katarzyna Mazur-Hofsaess, MD, PhD; President of Asia Pacific Sang Yi.
The Zimmer Biomet functional areas and leadership will include:
• Robin T. Barney, senior vice president, global operations and logistics
• Audrey M. Beckman, senior vice president, strategic quality initiatives
• William P. Fisher, senior vice president, global human resources
• Daniel P. Florin, senior vice president, CFO
• Emmanuel O. Nyakako, senior vice president, global quality, clinical and regulatory affairs
• Chad F. Phipps, senior vice president, general counsel and secretary
