Spinal Simplicity named Richard Grant a new advisor and member of the company's board of managers.

1. Mr. Grant has over 30 years experience in the spinal and orthopedic medical industry. As president, CEO and co-founder of Breakaway Imaging, Mr. Grant executed the sale of the company to Medtronic in June 2007.
2. Mr. Grant's past experience includes time as president and CEO of TheraCell, a company that specializes in stem cell harvesting and processing for orthopedic applications. He was also president of Bonovo Orthopedics, a manufacturer and distributor of spine and orthopedic instrumentation and implants in China.
3. Currently, Mr. Grand serves on the board of directors of two medical device companies, an orthopedic bracing company and an ortho-biologic company while also serving as chairman of the board of a computer-assisted total knee solutions company.
4. Prior to this role, he served on the board of directors of Excelsius Surgical, which was sold to Globus Medical; Nocimed, who partners with NuVasive; and Angstrom Medical, which was sold to Pioneer Surgical.
5. Todd Moseley, CEO of Spinal Simplicid, said, "Our company will have the unique advantage of calling upon [Mr. Grant's] experience as we bring the Minuteman G3-R to the minimally invasive spine market to enhance posterior supplemental fixation and fusion, as well as to introduce our ground breaking Wolff's
