Aurora Spine received Institutional Review Board approval for a multicenter study of its Dexa-C cervical interbody system.
Seven sites were approved, and three more are pending, according to an April 4 company news release. The initial study will look at 40 single-level patients and 40 multilevel patients.
The Dexa-C system is approved for anterior cervical interbody fusion and uses the company's technology for measuring bone density. Sebastian Koga, MD, will be the principal investigator for the study.
