From product launches to a business acquisition, here are six updates from spine and orthopedic devicemakers since April 3.

1. Captiva Spine launched its TransFasten-LSF sacroiliac joint fusion system for minimally invasive procedures.

2. Spine devicemaker Accelus named two new people to its leadership team — Rob German as vice president of research and development and Luke Perkins as senior director of product management.

3. Henry Schein completed its acquisition of a majority interest in TriMed, an orthopedic devicemaker.

4. Onkos Surgical earned the FDA's De Novo approval for its antibacterial-coated orthopedic implants.

5. Proprio partnered with the Biedermann Group to integrate spinal implants into the Paradigm artificial intelligence system.

6. DePuy Synthes is launching its TriALTIS pedicle screw system.
