Proprio's Paradigm surgical guidance platform has been used in 50 spine cases.
The platform records data and models potential results of key surgical decisions to help surgeons, according to a Sept. 10 news release from the company. It takes images of the surgery and integrates them to make real-time 3D anatomical mapping.
"Since the first-in-human surgery using Proprio less than a year ago, I have witnessed immense progress and benefits from incorporating this technology into spinal surgery," Richard Bransford, MD, said in the release. "This system's unprecedented visualization and data collection capabilities offer a level of precision far beyond previous methods."
Paradigm is expanding to hospitals globally in 2024 and 2025.
