1. Onward Medical’s Arc-EX spinal cord stimulator saw its first U.S. sales in late December, the company said Jan. 9.

2. Saluda Medical closed a $100 million finance round. The money will support commercialization of the Evoke closed-loop spinal cord stimulator.

3. Spine devicemaker icotec earned FDA 510(k) clearance for its BlackArmor spine implants.

4. Private equity firm Montagu has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire orthopedic device manufacturer Tyber Medical.

5. Orthopedic robotics company Corin earned FDA clearance for the ApolloHipX, a total replacement application designed for the Corin Apollo platform.
