The ARx SAI system has self-drilling screws, a self-harvesting design, a low-profile cobalt chrome tulip head and universal T25 hexalobe drive features, according to a news release.
“This screw exhibits exceptional strength and purchase, providing robust fixation,” David Yeh, MD, said in the release. “Notably, it uniquely incorporates bone from the iliac crest into its structure during insertion — a feature I have not observed in other screws. This mechanism has the potential for enhancing biological integration at the bone-implant interface. In my experience, the pullout resistance and overall structural integrity of this screw is unique to anything currently available on the market.”
