Dr. Steinmetz earned his medical degree from Texas Tech University School of Medicine in Lubbock and completed his residency at the Cleveland Clinic. He also completed a fellowship in spine surgery at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics in Madison.
Dr. Steinmetz’ clinical interests include cervical spondylosis, chiari malformation, complex spine instrumentation, degenerative spine disease, spinal cord tumors and spine tumors. He is a member of the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, American Association of Neurological Surgeons, North American Spine Society and Society for Neurosciences.
