James J. Yue, MD, is an associate professor of orthopedics and rehabilitation at Yale School of Medicine in New Haven, Conn. Dr. Yue also serves as co-director of Orthopaedic Spine Service as well as the director of the Yale spine fellowship.
Dr. Yue's clinical interests revolve around spinal disorders, lumbar and cervical disc replacement surgery. His research interests include non-fusion spine care, motion sparing spine surgery and disc replacement surgery. In addition, Dr. Yue is affiliated with Yale-New Haven Hospital where he sees patients at the Guilford and New Haven locations.
After receiving his medical degree from Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago, Dr. Yue completed a residency at University Hospitals of Cleveland and was a trauma and spine fellow at the University of Maryland/RA Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore. Dr. Yue also completed a second spine fellowship at Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham and London, England.
