He received his medical degree from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and did his residency at Farmington Hills, Mich.-based Botsford General Hospital, according to Michigan Spine and Brain Surgeons’ website. Dr. Bono also did a fellowship at New York Hospital for Joint Diseases in New York City.
Dr. Bono has been clinical assistant professor at East Lansing-based Michigan State University College of Human Medicine since 2016, according to the website. He’s fluent in Sicilian and Italian.
