Ambulatory surgery center company Interventional Management Services has announced the merger of Interventional Spine and Pain Management and Comprehensive Pain Management, both Atlanta-based practices.
As a result of the merger, IMS has a total of 16 locations, including 13 ASCs, in the metropolitan Atlanta area.
"This transaction will allow us to better serve our patients and referral sources by having convenient locations across the metropolitan Atlanta region," said IMS CEO Stephen Rosenbaum. "The partnership will also enable us to realize efficiencies that will allow us to continue to invest in physician training, leading to improvements in our patients' experience, and ultimately better outcomes."
