Guthrie opens spine care center — 4 points

Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital opened a new spine center in Sayre, Pa.

Here are four points:

 

1. The center offers patients an integrated approach to treat spine and neck pain.

 

2. Guthrie’s team is comprised of physiatrists, specially trained spine-care physical therapists and pain management specialists.

 

3. Additionally, the center offers rheumatology, occupational therapy, chiropractic, bariatrics and neurosurgery services.

 

4. Guthrie, a nonprofit integrated health system, serves patients in north central Pennsylvania and Upstate New York.

 

“We are pleased to now be able to offer this new service to our patients. Back pain can be a life-changing condition,” said Matthew Quigley, MD, chief of neurosciences, Guthrie. “Our new spine center offers patients a multi-specialty path to treating their spine and neck pain, helping them to access a variety of different interventions, tailored to their own personal health needs.”
