Spine surgeon Dr. Jaswinder Grover joins Curaleaf board

Medical cannabis operator Curaleaf appointed Jaswinder Grover, MD, Feb. 3 to its board of directors.

Dr. Grover is a spine surgeon who has been in private practice with Nevada Spine Clinic and Center for Special Surgery in Las Vegas since 2005, according to its website.

Before establishing his private practice, he practiced at the University Medical Center of Southern Nevada in Reno for 10 years.

He graduated from the UCLA School of Medicine and completed his residency at the University of Southern California at Los Angeles County Medical Center.

Following medical school, Dr. Grover completed spine fellowships at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada, The Centre for Spinal Studies and Surgery in Nottingham, England, and the Royal Victoria Medical Center in Ontario, Canada.

His professional memberships include the North American Spine Society, the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Medical Society.
