Intraoperative neuromonitoring services provider Assure Holdings entered into an agreement with a spine-focused practice in Central Michigan, according to a Feb. 20 announcement.
Three insights:
1. Under the Feb. 10 agreement, Assure will provide intraoperative neuromonitoring services for two facilities. It will be the preferred provider for one of those facilities.
2. Assure has already performed its first case with the surgeon group, which performs 250-plus cases annually.
"Assure leveraged its strong reputation and surgeon referral network to secure this new partnership," John Farlinger, Assure's executive chairman and CEO, said in a press release.
3. In late January, Assure entered into an agreement with a five-surgeon, spine-focused practice in Western Colorado. That group performs more than 400 procedures a year.
